Weezy F’d you, so you gotta have a baby

That subject title just seemed so suitable. For no apparent reason, I’ve felt so compelled to understand this Lil Wayne obsession. Why is it that every man from every hood believes in this man so much? So I searched and found all three Dedication mixtapes. For those that don’t know, Mr. Weezy has a tradition of releasing a Dedication mixtape after every “Tha Carter” album. For all my retards out there, there’s 3 carters, therefore, there are 3 dedications.

Did I get to understand this Lil Wayne obsession? No, but I found something else instead. After listening to the first Dedication mixtape, I was ready to give up. But I told myself I’d listen to all 3. I just finished Dedication 2 and not only am I impressed, I’m convinced. Lil Wayne has a ghost writer. The whole Dedication mixtape was pretty much about speculation of Lil Wayne getting signed to Roc-A-Fella and being under Jay-Z’s guidance. But all of a sudden, over a span of one year, not only is his lyrical content get better, but so is his ear for music and writing technique (flows). It’s impossible for someone to grow so rapidly in every sense of the game.

Cool can’t be taught, or given, you can only be born cool. You can be coached, but you have to have it already. Wayne has talent, but not as much as y’all give him credit for. I haven’t even gotten to Dedication 3 yet, but Jay-Z must be one helluva coach to completely transform someone the way he did Weezy.

On the same day…

…that Barry Bonds and Jennifer Lopez was born (let’s not forget my cousin Randy), I was brought into this world. I’m 19 today, yes, I know, most of you are blowing your brains out going, “HE’S ONLY 19!?!?!?!?” Yes, it’s true, and I’ll never lie about it. This is my first birthday to come where I’ve had this blog so this post, is very, very special to me. To answer the most dumbest question ever asked during anyone’s birthday, no, I don’t feel older. 2008 is a very important year for me. It’s the year that everything changed. I changed my career path and completed all those gapped thoughts of where I’d want to be in 5-10 years. For those who thought my lack of experience and age would slow me down, Sirius called me yesterday. Yes, I put onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. Kid Kelly, I’m really coming for you now nigga!

Huge shouts to Dot (! He came through to the show last Tuesday as we talked our bullshit. For the record, I don’t hate Jersey, it’s all in a days work. But if you’re going to continue to talk about it, FUCK JERSEY! I’ll upload the show ASAP, stay tuned.

R.I.P. Onyx

The naked MC and Onyx

Onyx was an old man that a lot of people met and instantly fell in love with. Even though I haven’t known Onyx that long, I really shared a connection with him. On the day he was put to sleep, I had Prophit and Jeremiah Alexis ( on It’s Lloyal. This was completely by coincidence because I’ve been trying to get these two on the show at the same time forever! But this show is what took a tragic moment and made it completely beautiful.

This show was classic on so many levels. Between Jeremiah Alexis (Writer / Director / Actor / Everything that has to do with a movie, seriously) writing that heart-felt rhyme on his way to the show about Onyx, to the freestyles where Jeremiah plays the role of “Green Man” (the little nameless green superhero that sits on Prophit’s entertainment unit) who’s constantly insulting Prophit, to me playing Ms. Paulette (the mother of this crazy duo) to split them up.

Unfortunately, due to some technical difficulties over at WBMB, we weren’t able to record the show. I really wish I could be able to play this back at least for Ms. Paulette. But, in a way, I understand this is how it was supposed to be and I know, she knows how we represented for her superdog.

Now I know ask a lot of ya’ll (yes, YOU!). I beg ya’ll to click two links on Tuesday nights to tune into my nothingness, but c’mon, you enjoy it! I’d really appreciate it if anyone who actually heard this show dropped a little comment about how they felt. If you missed the show, tell me that you wish you would’ve caught it! It’s Monday morning and I’m mapping out the next It’s Lloyal as we speak. From one superhero to another, I can’t even say I miss you Onyx, ’cause you still here. Until next time…

This young young young white boy is the truth. I first heard about him from Prophit and he’s become somewhat an exclusive producer for Prophit. This past Tuesday, I had him and Versa up on the show and we were straight wylin’ out. Unfortunately, due to bootleg computers over at WBMB, I wasn’t able to record this show. But everyone who got to listen know that this was one of the most entertaining shows yet! I’m just an overall asshole, who everyone likes. Peep the irony. This kid got me ready to add an extra track to Lloyal Rumble for no reason, yes he’s that nice. Peace to everyone who was tuned in this past Tuesday.

Just to update, I realized that it’s not that necessary to upload each and every show so I’m going to thoroughly go through what I’ve got and upload the best of the best. Not to say they’re not all great, but shit, that’s a helluva lot of shows to catch up on. In the meantime, enjoy the 6 shows I’ve got up now. The best is yet to come, I’ve become the dream.
